Raylen did a fantastic job for her photoshoot last week! She is so beautiful and looks so grown up! I wanted to share more of her session with all of you!
Miss Brailey is doing an amazing job in all of her pageants this year! She needed a special photoshoot to build up her portfolio and I’m so glad her momma messaged me!
Brailey won Little Miss Firecracker in Stone County this summer.
She also won Little Miss Searcy County Queen this past Friday!
This session was so much fun! We went to downtown Leslie and took all of her photos there. I just love this unique little town and all of their cute buildings, doors, and alleyways!
She done so good with all of the poses and positions! We got some really great candid shots as well!
Thank you again for letting me capture your beautiful smiles and sweet personality!
Good luck on your next pageant Brailey!!!
Adley came by to see me last weekend for my fruit bath mini sessions! I have been photographing her since she was born and I just love watching her grow!
I can’t wait to see her again in a few months for her next session!
The project for week 14 was to photograph Artistic Metal – Cold, hard steel. Shiny Aluminum. Or even rusted and broken down. Find your inspiration in metal.
We have a lot of projects that keep us busy here at home and a lot of these projects are outside in the yard. Right now we have been trying to finish a leveled play area for our kiddos to put a playground on. This has been an ongoing project since last year and we are finally getting closer to the finished product!
This weekend Andrew rented a CAT machine and used it to level out the fill dirt/gravel (we had delivered quite a few months ago :P) and he also used it to finish laying the cross ties and do some clearing in the front yard as well.
My theme was metal and I got my inspiration from all the tools/equipment he used this weekend to get our area fixed up. Here are a few photos I took while he was working….
I helped out a little with some of the grunt work and fetching this or that… but mostly just watched and snapped photos! Ha! Ha! 🙂
Setting cross ties to keep all the dirt and gravel from washing away.
One of my favorites! In this photo he’s drilling holes to put steel rebar in to stabilize the cross ties. This helps to keep the ties from moving or shifting. You can see some of the wood flying off of the drill bit!
The tool box on wheels….
handy & ready to go whenever you need it.
….However, very unhandy for short people like me. 😛
Meanwhile Luke is chilling in the sandbox….
Next, he had to cut the rebar in the lengths he needed for the cross ties. These were fun to take…. Blazing hot bits of fiery steel flying at my face and camera. LOL!
Next, it was time to drive the rebar into the pre drilled holes. I wish I could capture the sound of the metal sledgehammer hitting the steel bars. Nothing easy about that part!
The last step will be putting 2×12 stained boards on top of the cross ties. We didn’t have enough time to finish it completely but hopefully we will have it done this week!
Now it’s time to order the playground! I’ll be sure to photograph and add the finished project later so you guys can check it out!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Hopefully I’ve inspired you to do your own yard projects this spring and thank the Lord for metal and tools to help us get our jobs done!
Hey everyone! I wanted to share some photos of the lovely Wildflower B&B I took over the weekend. The innkeepers, Chris & Shelley, are some of the sweetest people I have ever met! I have used their B&B on numerous occasions for photoshoots and they are very generous and accommodating! I was honored that they wanted me to photograph their newly renovated rooms! They have worked hard making changes and are in the process of adding cottages as well.
I can’t wait to come back when all of the trees and flowers are in full bloom so I can photograph the outside of the building and some of the delicious meals Shelley cooks up for her guests!
This is definitely the place to be if you’re looking for a place to stay while visiting Mtn. View!
These rooms have such a cozy feel to them!
For more information about the Wildflower you can contact Chris & Shelley!

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! I’m going to try to commit back to my weekly photo challenge since the busy fall season and all of the holidays are over!
We have had so much rain in the last couple of weeks and quite a few foggy days. I grabbed my camera and put on the muck boots. I figured I might as well capture the mood. I had some help too!
My little rainy day companions!
The weather made for some neat photos but I’m definitely ready for summer to get here!
Adam & Amanda welcomed their 3rd baby into the world this month on February 5! I had the honor to do his newborn photos and I’m so glad they entrusted me with his very first photo shoot! Baby Asher done amazing and slept like a champ!
I got to try out some new poses and I loved doing all of these in B&W!
Baby Asher was sleepy and content. He let us pose him and move him around with out a blink. He even let us play dress up for a few photos! 🙂
Asher has two older sisters Alivia & Anna. These girls will have so much fun this next year watching their baby brother grow and play. For now though, this picture is worth a thousand words… 🙂
Congrats to the Merritt’s! I pray that the Lord blesses you with happy, healthy days, and lots of sweet memories to enjoy! I can’t wait to photograph little man again!
Sarah & Grady welcomed sweet little Dawsyn Grace into the world on February 11 at 10:35 AM. She weighed 7lbs 6oz & was 19in long. My birthday is also Feb. 11 so we get to share our birthdays! 🙂
I love getting to hold these sweet babies and capturing their first days of life! Within a matter of months their little bodies will be growing and they will never be this small again!
Dawsyn has two older siblings… Big Brother Hayes and Big Sister Raylen.
Hayes giving his protective big brother expression! LOL!
I know they will have lots of fun growing up together. I can’t wait to photograph these cuties again!
Congratulations on your newest addition to the family! I hope you cherish every moment because before too long she will be all grown up just like her big brother and sister!
I am finally getting to share some of Brad & Candice’s wedding photos with all of you! It was a cold and windy day for an outside wedding, but that didn’t take away from their big day at all! If anything, I think it made it more memorable and it’s a day they will never forget!
Here are a few of their pre-wedding snaps. 🙂
Brad & Candice wanted to do a first look before the ceremony. I love the emotion in these photos! 😀
We done a few family photos next, and then it was time for a WEDDING!
It started to rain a little bit so everyone moved all of the chairs and decorations inside the barn. It was decorated beautifully with a rustic country feel! The lights and lanterns glowed perfect for a cloudy fall day!
The ceremony was short and sweet and right to the point! 🙂
After the ceremony everyone dug into some awesome bbq and fried pies! Then Brad & Candice had their first dance, signing of their marriage license, and cutting the cake!
It was a beautiful wedding and I loved getting to be the one to capture their special day!
CONGRATULATIONS BRAD & CANDICE!
I had the honor to photograph Logan & Jessica’s Wedding in November. It took place at a beautiful spot called Mount Eagle, located a short distance from Shirley Arkansas.
It was a pretty warm day for mid November with cloudy skies and a few rain drizzles before the ceremony!
Here are a few pre-wedding snap shots!
Logan and his best man finishing up the decorations. I got to help with some of that too! 🙂
The guests started arriving soon and the ceremony began.
Logan didn’t seem nervous at all. I felt like he was happily anticipating these moments!
They wrote their own vows for their wedding, exchanged rings, and planted a tree.
Then they officially became husband & wife!
It was a beautiful fall wedding and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
